Discussion Guidelines:

• The weekly current events discussion leader normally sets the agenda and selects the topics for the group.

• Any discussion leader may invite a speaker on a topic.

• If the discussion leader plans to invite an outside speaker, the following are suggested:
  • The group should be notified in advance who the speaker will be.
  • The invited speakers should have a specified amount of time.
  • The invited speakers should be made aware that this is a discussion group, not just a lecture.
